nem ainda a sua décima geração entrará nela. 3 Nenhum amonita ou moabita entrará na assembléia do SENHOR; nem ainda a sua décima geração entrará na assembléia do SENHOR, eternamente. 4 Porquanto não foram ao vosso encontro com pão e água, no caminho, quando saíeis do Egito; e porque alugaram contra ti Balaão, filho de Beor, de Petor, da Mesopotâmia, para te amaldiçoar. 5 Porém o SENHOR, teu Deus, não quis ouvir a Balaão; antes, trocou em bênção a maldição, porquanto o SENHOR, teu Deus, te amava. 6 Não lhes procurarás nem paz nem bem em todos os teus dias, para sempre. 7 Não aborrecerás o edomita, pois é teu irmão; nem aborrecerás o egípcio, pois estrangeiro foste na sua terra. 8 Os filhos que lhes nascerem na terceira geração, cada um deles entrará na assembléia do SENHOR. 9 Quando sair o exército contra os teus inimigos, então, te guardarás de toda coisa má. 10 Se houver entre vós alguém que, por motivo de polução noturna, não esteja limpo, sairá do acampamento; não permanecerá nele. 11 Porém, em declinando a tarde, lavar-se-á em água; e, posto o sol, entrará para o meio do acampamento. 12 Também haverá um lugar fora do acampamento, para onde irás. 13 Dentre as tuas armas terás um porrete; e, quando te abaixares fora, cavarás com ele e, volvendo-te, cobrirás o que defecaste. 14 Porquanto o SENHOR, teu Deus, anda no meio do teu acampamento para te livrar e para entregar-te os teus inimigos; portanto, o teu acampamento será santo, para que ele não veja em ti coisa indecente e se aparte de ti. 15 Não entregarás ao seu senhor o escravo que, tendo fugido dele, se acolher a ti. 16 Contigo ficará, no meio de ti, no lugar que escolher, em alguma de tuas cidades onde lhe agradar; não o oprimirás. 17 Das filhas de Israel não haverá quem se prostitua no serviço do templo, nem dos filhos de Israel haverá quem o faça. 18 Não trarás salário de prostituição nem preço de sodomita à Casa do SENHOR, teu Deus, por qualquer voto; porque uma e outra coisa são igualmente abomináveis ao SENHOR, teu Deus. 19 A teu irmão não emprestarás com juros, seja dinheiro, seja comida ou qualquer coisa que é costume se emprestar com juros. 20 Ao estrangeiro emprestarás com juros, porém a teu irmão não emprestarás com juros, para que o SENHOR, teu Deus, te abençoe em todos os teus empreendimentos na terra a qual passas a possuir. 21 Quando fizeres algum voto ao SENHOR, teu Deus, não tardarás em cumpri-lo; porque o SENHOR, teu Deus, certamente, o requererá de ti, e em ti haverá pecado. 22 Porém, abstendo-te de fazer o voto, não haverá pecado em ti. 23 O que proferiram os teus lábios, isso guardarás e o farás, porque votaste livremente ao SENHOR, teu Deus, o que falaste com a tua boca. 24 Quando entrares na vinha do teu próximo, comerás uvas segundo o teu desejo, até te fartares, porém não as levarás no cesto. 25 Quando entrares na seara do teu próximo, com as mãos arrancarás as espigas; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee. 5 Nevertheless the Lord thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the Lord thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the Lord thy God loved thee. 6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever. 7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land. 8 The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the Lord in their third generation. 9 When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing. 10 If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp: 11 But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again. 12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad: 13 And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee: 14 For the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee. 15 Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee: 16 He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him. 17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. 18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the Lord thy God. 19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury: 20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it. 21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee. 22 But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee. 23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the Lord thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth. 24 When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; Louvai, servos do SENHOR, louvai o nome do SENHOR. 2 Bendito seja o nome do SENHOR, agora e para sempre. 3 Do nascimento do sol até ao ocaso, louvado seja o nome do SENHOR. 4 Excelso é o SENHOR, acima de todas as nações, e a sua glória, acima dos céus. 5 Quem há semelhante ao SENHOR, nosso Deus, cujo trono está nas alturas, 6 que se inclina para ver o que se passa no céu e sobre a terra? 7 Ele ergue do pó o desvalido e do monturo, o necessitado, 8 para o assentar ao lado dos príncipes, sim, com os príncipes do seu povo. 9 Faz que a mulher estéril viva em família e seja alegre mãe de filhos. Eis que por causa das vossas iniqüidades é que fostes vendidos, e por causa das vossas transgressões vossa mãe foi repudiada. 2 Por que razão, quando eu vim, ninguém apareceu? Quando chamei, ninguém respondeu? Acaso, se encolheu tanto a minha mão, que já não pode remir ou já não há força em mim para livrar? Ele me desperta todas as manhãs, desperta-me o ouvido para que eu ouça como os eruditos. 5 O SENHOR Deus me abriu os ouvidos, e eu não fui rebelde, não me retraí. 6 Ofereci as costas aos que me feriam e as faces, aos que me arrancavam os cabelos; não escondi o rosto aos que me afrontavam e me cuspiam. 7 Porque o SENHOR Deus me ajudou, pelo que não me senti envergonhado; por isso, fiz o meu rosto como um seixo e sei que não serei envergonhado. 8 Perto está o que me justifica; quem contenderá comigo? Apresentemo-nos juntamente; quem é o meu adversário? Chegue-se para mim. 9 Eis que o SENHOR Deus me ajuda; quem há que me condene? Eis que todos eles, como um vestido, serão consumidos; a traça os comerá. 10 Quem há entre vós que tema ao SENHOR e que ouça a voz do seu Servo? Aquele que andou em trevas, sem nenhuma luz, confie em o nome do SENHOR e se firme sobre o seu Deus. 11 Eia!
