Eu sou o SENHOR. 3 Dize-lhes: Todo homem, que entre as vossas gerações, de toda a vossa descendência, se chegar às coisas sagradas que os filhos de Israel dedicam ao SENHOR, tendo sobre si a sua imundícia, aquela alma será eliminada de diante de mim. Eu sou o SENHOR. 4 Ninguém da descendência de Arão que for leproso ou tiver fluxo comerá das coisas sagradas, até que seja limpo; como também o que tocar alguma coisa imunda por causa de um morto ou aquele com quem se der a emissão do sêmen; 5 ou qualquer que tocar algum réptil, com o que se faz imundo, ou a algum homem, com o que se faz imundo, seja qual for a sua imundícia. 6 O homem que o tocar será imundo até à tarde e não comerá das coisas sagradas sem primeiro banhar o seu corpo em água. 7 Posto o sol, então, será limpo e, depois, comerá das coisas sagradas, porque isto é o seu pão. 8 Do animal que morre por si mesmo ou é dilacerado não comerá, para, com isso, não contaminar-se. Eu sou o SENHOR. 9 Guardarão, pois, a obrigação que têm para comigo, para que, por isso, não levem sobre si pecado e morram, havendo-o profanado. Eu sou o SENHOR, que os santifico. 10 Nenhum estrangeiro comerá das coisas sagradas; o hóspede do sacerdote nem o seu jornaleiro comerão das coisas sagradas. 11 Mas, se o sacerdote comprar algum escravo com o seu dinheiro, este comerá delas; os que nascerem na sua casa, estes comerão do seu pão. 12 Quando a filha do sacerdote se casar com estrangeiro, ela não comerá da oferta das coisas sagradas. 13 Mas, se a filha do sacerdote for viúva ou repudiada, e não tiver filhos, e se houver tornado à casa de seu pai, como na sua mocidade, do pão de seu pai comerá; mas nenhum estrangeiro comerá dele. 14 Se alguém, por ignorância, comer a coisa sagrada, ajuntar-se-lhe-á a sua quinta parte e a dará ao sacerdote com a coisa sagrada. 15 Não profanarão as coisas sagradas que os filhos de Israel oferecem ao SENHOR, 16 pois assim os fariam levar sobre si a culpa da iniqüidade, comendo as coisas sagradas; porque eu sou o SENHOR, que os santifico. 17 Disse mais o SENHOR a Moisés: 18 Fala a Arão, e a seus filhos, e a todos os filhos de Israel e dize-lhes: Qualquer que, da casa de Israel ou dos estrangeiros em Israel, apresentar a sua oferta, quer em cumprimento de seus votos ou como ofertas voluntárias, que apresentar ao SENHOR em holocausto, 19 para que seja aceitável, oferecerá macho sem defeito, ou do gado, ou do rebanho de ovelhas, ou de cabras. 20 Porém todo o que tiver defeito, esse não oferecereis; porque não seria aceito a vosso favor. 21 Quando alguém oferecer sacrifício pacífico ao SENHOR, quer em cumprimento de voto ou como oferta voluntária, do gado ou do rebanho, o animal deve ser sem defeito para ser aceitável; nele, não haverá defeito nenhum. 22 O cego, ou aleijado, ou mutilado, ou ulceroso, ou sarnoso, ou cheio de impigens, não os oferecereis ao SENHOR e deles não poreis oferta queimada ao SENHOR sobre o altar. 23 Porém novilho ou cordeiro desproporcionados poderás oferecer por oferta voluntária, mas, por voto, não será aceito. 24 Não oferecereis ao SENHOR animal que tiver os testículos machucados, ou moídos, ou arrancados, ou cortados; nem fareis isso na vossa terra. 25 Também da mão do estrangeiro nenhum desses animais oferecereis como pão do vosso Deus, porque são corrompidos pelo defeito que há neles; não serão aceitos a vosso favor. 26 Disse mais o SENHOR a Moisés: 27 Quando nascer o boi, ou cordeiro, ou cabra, sete dias estará com a mãe; do oitavo dia em diante, será aceito por oferta queimada ao SENHOR. 28 Ou seja vaca, ou seja ovelha, não imolarás a ela e seu filho, ambos no mesmo dia. 29 Quando oferecerdes sacrifício de louvores ao SENHOR, fá-lo-eis para que sejais aceitos. 30 No mesmo dia, será comido; e, dele, nada deixareis ficar até pela manhã. Eu sou o SENHOR. 31 Pelo que guardareis os meus mandamentos e os cumprireis. Eu sou o SENHOR. 32 Não profanareis o meu santo nome, mas serei santificado no meio dos filhos de Israel. Eu sou o SENHOR, que vos santifico, 33 que vos tirei da terra do Egito, para ser o vosso Deus. Eu sou o SENHOR. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the Lord. 3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the Lord, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the Lord. 4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; 5 Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath; 6 The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water. 7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food. 8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith; I am the Lord. 9 They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the Lord do sanctify them. 10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing. 11 But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat. 12 If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things. 13 But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat: but there shall be no stranger eat thereof. 14 And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing. 15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the Lord; 16 Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the Lord do sanctify them. 17 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 18 Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the Lord for a burnt offering; 19 Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats. 20 But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you. 21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein. 22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the Lord, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the Lord. 23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted. 24 Ye shall not offer unto the Lord that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land. 25 Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you. 26 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the Lord. 28 And whether it be cow, or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day. 29 And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord, offer it at your own will. 30 On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the Lord. 31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord. 32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the Lord which hallow you, 33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Salmos 28 1 A ti clamo, ó SENHOR; rocha minha, não sejas surdo para comigo; para que não suceda, se te calares acerca de mim, seja eu semelhante aos que descem à cova. 2 Ouve-me as vozes súplices, quando a ti clamar por socorro, quando erguer as mãos para o teu santuário. 3 Não me arrastes com os ímpios, com os que praticam a iniqüidade; os quais falam de paz ao seu próximo, porém no coração têm perversidade. 4 Paga-lhes segundo as suas obras, segundo a malícia dos seus atos; dá-lhes conforme a obra de suas mãos, retribui-lhes o que merecem. 5 E, visto que não atentam para os feitos do SENHOR, nem para o que as suas mãos fazem, ele os derribará e não os reedificará. 6 Bendito seja o SENHOR, porque me ouviu as vozes súplices! 7 O SENHOR é a minha força e o meu escudo; nele o meu coração confia, nele fui socorrido; por isso, o meu coração exulta, e com o meu cântico o louvarei. 8 O SENHOR é a força do seu povo, o refúgio salvador do seu ungido. 9 Salva o teu povo e abençoa a tua herança; apascenta-o e exalta-o para sempre. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  28 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. 2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. 3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. 4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. 5 Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up. 6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. 8 The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed. 9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Salmos 29 1 Tributai ao SENHOR, filhos de Deus, tributai ao SENHOR glória e força. 2 Tributai ao SENHOR a glória devida ao seu nome, adorai o SENHOR na beleza da santidade. 3 Ouve-se a voz do SENHOR sobre as águas; troveja o Deus da glória; o SENHOR está sobre as muitas águas. 4 A voz do SENHOR é poderosa; a voz do SENHOR é cheia de majestade. 5 A voz do SENHOR quebra os cedros; sim, o SENHOR despedaça os cedros do Líbano. 6 Ele os faz saltar como um bezerro; o Líbano e o Siriom, como bois selvagens. 7 A voz do SENHOR despede chamas de fogo. 8 A voz do SENHOR faz tremer o deserto; o SENHOR faz tremer o deserto de Cades. 9 A voz do SENHOR faz dar cria às corças e desnuda os bosques; e no seu templo tudo diz: Glória! 10 O SENHOR preside aos dilúvios; como rei, o SENHOR presidirá para sempre. 11 O SENHOR dá força ao seu povo, o SENHOR abençoa com paz ao seu povo. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  29 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. 3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. 4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. 5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. 6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. 7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire. 8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. 9 The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. 10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever. 11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Eclesiastes 5 1 Guarda o pé, quando entrares na Casa de Deus; chegar-se para ouvir é melhor do que oferecer sacrifícios de tolos, pois não sabem que fazem mal. 2 Não te precipites com a tua boca, nem o teu coração se apresse a pronunciar palavra alguma diante de Deus; porque Deus está nos céus, e tu, na terra; portanto, sejam poucas as tuas palavras. 3 Porque dos muitos trabalhos vêm os sonhos, e do muito falar, palavras néscias. 4 Quando a Deus fizeres algum voto, não tardes em cumpri-lo; porque não se agrada de tolos. Cumpre o voto que fazes. 5 Melhor é que não votes do que votes e não cumpras. 6 Não consintas que a tua boca te faça culpado, nem digas diante do mensageiro de Deus que foi inadvertência; por que razão se iraria Deus por causa da tua palavra, a ponto de destruir as obras das tuas mãos? 7 Porque, como na multidão dos sonhos há vaidade, assim também, nas muitas palavras; tu, porém, teme a Deus. 8 Se vires em alguma província opressão de pobres e o roubo em lugar do direito e da justiça, não te maravilhes de semelhante caso; porque o que está alto tem acima de si outro mais alto que o explora, e sobre estes há ainda outros mais elevados que também exploram. 9 O proveito da terra é para todos; até o rei se serve do campo. 10 Quem ama o dinheiro jamais dele se farta; e quem ama a abundância nunca se farta da renda; também isto é vaidade. 11 Onde os bens se multiplicam, também se multiplicam os que deles comem; que mais proveito, pois, têm os seus donos do que os verem com seus olhos? 12 Doce é o sono do trabalhador, quer coma pouco, quer muito; mas a fartura do rico não o deixa dormir. 13 Grave mal vi debaixo do sol: as riquezas que seus donos guardam para o próprio dano. 14 E, se tais riquezas se perdem por qualquer má aventura, ao filho que gerou nada lhe fica na mão. 15 Como saiu do ventre de sua mãe, assim nu voltará, indo-se como veio; e do seu trabalho nada poderá levar consigo. 16 Também isto é grave mal: precisamente como veio, assim ele vai; e que proveito lhe vem de haver trabalhado para o vento? 17 Nas trevas, comeu em todos os seus dias, com muito enfado, com enfermidades e indignação. 18 Eis o que eu vi: boa e bela coisa é comer e beber e gozar cada um do bem de todo o seu trabalho, com que se afadigou debaixo do sol, durante os poucos dias da vida que Deus lhe deu; porque esta é a sua porção. 19 Quanto ao homem a quem Deus conferiu riquezas e bens e lhe deu poder para deles comer, e receber a sua porção, e gozar do seu trabalho, isto é dom de Deus. 20 Porque não se lembrará muito dos dias da sua vida, porquanto Deus lhe enche o coração de alegria. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  5 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. 2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. 3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words. 4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. 5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. 6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? 7 For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God. 8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they. 9 Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field. 10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity. 11 When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes? 12 The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep. 13 There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt. 14 But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand. 15 As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. 16 And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind? 17 All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness. 18 Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion. 19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. 20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
