de cinco côvados será o seu comprimento, e de cinco, a largura (será quadrado o altar), e de três côvados, a altura. 2 Dos quatro cantos farás levantar-se quatro chifres, os quais formarão uma só peça com o altar; e o cobrirás de bronze. 3 Far-lhe-ás também recipientes para recolher a sua cinza, e pás, e bacias, e garfos, e braseiros; todos esses utensílios farás de bronze. 4 Far-lhe-ás também uma grelha de bronze em forma de rede, à qual farás quatro argolas de metal nos seus quatro cantos, 5 e as porás dentro do rebordo do altar para baixo, de maneira que a rede chegue até ao meio do altar. 6 Farás também varais para o altar, varais de madeira de acácia, e os cobrirás de bronze. 7 Os varais se meterão nas argolas, de um e de outro lado do altar, quando for levado. 8 Oco e de tábuas o farás; como se te mostrou no monte, assim o farão. 9 Farás também o átrio do tabernáculo; ao lado meridional (que dá para o sul), o átrio terá cortinas de linho fino retorcido; o comprimento de cada lado será de cem côvados. 10 Também as suas vinte colunas e as suas vinte bases serão de bronze; os ganchos das colunas e as sua vergas serão de prata. 11 De igual modo, para o lado norte ao comprido, haverá cortinas de cem côvados de comprimento; e as suas vinte colunas e as suas vinte bases serão de bronze; os ganchos das colunas e as suas vergas serão de prata. 12 Na largura do átrio para o lado do ocidente, haverá cortinas de cinqüenta côvados; as colunas serão dez, e as suas bases, dez. 13 A largura do átrio do lado oriental (para o levante) será de cinqüenta côvados. 14 As cortinas para um lado da entrada serão de quinze côvados; as suas colunas serão três, e as suas bases, três. 15 Para o outro lado da entrada, haverá cortinas de quinze côvados; as suas colunas serão três, e as suas bases, três. 16 À porta do átrio, haverá um reposteiro de vinte côvados, de estofo azul, e púrpura, e carmesim, e linho fino retorcido, obra de bordador; as suas colunas serão quatro, e as suas bases, quatro. 17 Todas as colunas ao redor do átrio serão cingidas de vergas de prata; os seus ganchos serão de prata, mas as suas bases, de bronze. 18 O átrio terá cem côvados de comprimento, e cinqüenta de largura por todo o lado, e cinco de altura; as suas cortinas serão de linho fino retorcido, e as suas bases, de bronze. 19 Todos os utensílios do tabernáculo em todo o seu serviço, e todas as suas estacas, e todas as estacas do átrio serão de bronze. 20 Ordenarás aos filhos de Israel que te tragam azeite puro de oliveira, batido, para o candelabro, para que haja lâmpada acesa continuamente. 21 Na tenda da congregação fora do véu, que está diante do Testemunho, Arão e seus filhos a conservarão em ordem, desde a tarde até pela manhã, perante o SENHOR; estatuto perpétuo será este a favor dos filhos de Israel pelas suas gerações. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  27 And thou shalt make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits. 2 And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass. 3 And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass. 4 And thou shalt make for it a grate of network of brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four corners thereof. 5 And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar. 6 And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with brass. 7 And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it. 8 Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it was shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make it. 9 And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side: 10 And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty sockets shall be of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. 11 And likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings of an hundred cubits long, and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver. 12 And for the breadth of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits: their pillars ten, and their sockets ten. 13 And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits. 14 The hangings of one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three. 15 And on the other side shall be hangings fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three. 16 And for the gate of the court shall be an hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework: and their pillars shall be four, and their sockets four. 17 All the pillars round about the court shall be filleted with silver; their hooks shall be of silver, and their sockets of brass. 18 The length of the court shall be an hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty every where, and the height five cubits of fine twined linen, and their sockets of brass. 19 All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass. 20 And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always. 21 In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the Lord: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  João 7 1 Passadas estas coisas, Jesus andava pela Galiléia, porque não desejava percorrer a Judéia, visto que os judeus procuravam matá-lo. 2 Ora, a festa dos judeus, chamada de Festa dos Tabernáculos, estava próxima. 3 Dirigiram-se, pois, a ele os seus irmãos e lhe disseram: Deixa este lugar e vai para a Judéia, para que também os teus discípulos vejam as obras que fazes. 4 Porque ninguém há que procure ser conhecido em público e, contudo, realize os seus feitos em oculto. Se fazes estas coisas, manifesta-te ao mundo. 5 Pois nem mesmo os seus irmãos criam nele. 6 Disse-lhes, pois, Jesus: O meu tempo ainda não chegou, mas o vosso sempre está presente. 7 Não pode o mundo odiar-vos, mas a mim me odeia, porque eu dou testemunho a seu respeito de que as suas obras são más. 8 Subi vós outros à festa; eu, por enquanto, não subo, porque o meu tempo ainda não está cumprido. 9 Disse-lhes Jesus estas coisas e continuou na Galiléia. 10 Mas, depois que seus irmãos subiram para a festa, então, subiu ele também, não publicamente, mas em oculto. 11 Ora, os judeus o procuravam na festa e perguntavam: Onde estará ele? 12 E havia grande murmuração a seu respeito entre as multidões. Uns diziam: Ele é bom. E outros: Não, antes, engana o povo. 13 Entretanto, ninguém falava dele abertamente, por ter medo dos judeus. 14 Corria já em meio a festa, e Jesus subiu ao templo e ensinava. 15 Então, os judeus se maravilhavam e diziam: Como sabe este letras, sem ter estudado? 16 Respondeu-lhes Jesus: O meu ensino não é meu, e sim daquele que me enviou. 17 Se alguém quiser fazer a vontade dele, conhecerá a respeito da doutrina, se ela é de Deus ou se eu falo por mim mesmo. 18 Quem fala por si mesmo está procurando a sua própria glória; mas o que procura a glória de quem o enviou, esse é verdadeiro, e nele não há injustiça. 19 Não vos deu Moisés a lei? Contudo, ninguém dentre vós a observa. Por que procurais matar-me? 20 Respondeu a multidão: Tens demônio. Quem é que procura matar-te? 21 Replicou-lhes Jesus: Um só feito realizei, e todos vos admirais. 22 Pelo motivo de que Moisés vos deu a circuncisão (se bem que ela não vem dele, mas dos patriarcas), no sábado circuncidais um homem. 23 E, se o homem pode ser circuncidado em dia de sábado, para que a lei de Moisés não seja violada, por que vos indignais contra mim, pelo fato de eu ter curado, num sábado, ao todo, um homem? 24 Não julgueis segundo a aparência, e sim pela reta justiça. 25 Diziam alguns de Jerusalém: Não é este aquele a quem procuram matar? 26 Eis que ele fala abertamente, e nada lhe dizem. Porventura, reconhecem verdadeiramente as autoridades que este é, de fato, o Cristo? 27 Nós, todavia, sabemos donde este é; quando, porém, vier o Cristo, ninguém saberá donde ele é. 28 Jesus, pois, enquanto ensinava no templo, clamou, dizendo: Vós não somente me conheceis, mas também sabeis donde eu sou; e não vim porque eu, de mim mesmo, o quisesse, mas aquele que me enviou é verdadeiro, aquele a quem vós não conheceis. 29 Eu o conheço, porque venho da parte dele e fui por ele enviado. 30 Então, procuravam prendê-lo; mas ninguém lhe pôs a mão, porque ainda não era chegada a sua hora. 31 E, contudo, muitos de entre a multidão creram nele e diziam: Quando vier o Cristo, fará, porventura, maiores sinais do que este homem tem feito? 32 Os fariseus, ouvindo a multidão murmurar estas coisas a respeito dele, juntamente com os principais sacerdotes enviaram guardas para o prenderem. 33 Disse-lhes Jesus: Ainda por um pouco de tempo estou convosco e depois irei para junto daquele que me enviou. 34 Haveis de procurar-me e não me achareis; também aonde eu estou, vós não podeis ir. 35 Disseram, pois, os judeus uns aos outros: Para onde irá este que não o possamos achar? Irá, porventura, para a Dispersão entre os gregos, com o fim de os ensinar? 36 Que significa, de fato, o que ele diz: Haveis de procurar-me e não me achareis; também aonde eu estou, vós não podeis ir? 37 No último dia, o grande dia da festa, levantou-se Jesus e exclamou: Se alguém tem sede, venha a mim e beba. 38 Quem crer em mim, como diz a Escritura, do seu interior fluirão rios de água viva. 39 Isto ele disse com respeito ao Espírito que haviam de receber os que nele cressem; pois o Espírito até aquele momento não fora dado, porque Jesus não havia sido ainda glorificado. 40 Então, os que dentre o povo tinham ouvido estas palavras diziam: Este é verdadeiramente o profeta; 41 outros diziam: Ele é o Cristo; outros, porém, perguntavam: Porventura, o Cristo virá da Galiléia? 42 Não diz a Escritura que o Cristo vem da descendência de Davi e da aldeia de Belém, donde era Davi? 43 Assim, houve uma dissensão entre o povo por causa dele; 44 alguns dentre eles queriam prendê-lo, mas ninguém lhe pôs as mãos. 45 Voltaram, pois, os guardas à presença dos principais sacerdotes e fariseus, e estes lhes perguntaram: Por que não o trouxestes? 46 Responderam eles: Jamais alguém falou como este homem. 47 Replicaram-lhes, pois, os fariseus: Será que também vós fostes enganados? 48 Porventura, creu nele alguém dentre as autoridades ou algum dos fariseus? 49 Quanto a esta plebe que nada sabe da lei, é maldita. 50 Nicodemos, um deles, que antes fora ter com Jesus, perguntou-lhes: 51 Acaso, a nossa lei julga um homem, sem primeiro ouvi-lo e saber o que ele fez? 52 Responderam eles: Dar-se-á o caso de que também tu és da Galiléia? Examina e verás que da Galiléia não se levanta profeta. 53 E cada um foi para sua casa. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  7 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. 2 Now the Jew's feast of tabernacles was at hand. 3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. 4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. 5 For neither did his brethren believe in him. 6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. 7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. 8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come. 9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. 10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. 11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? 12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people. 13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews. 14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. 15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? 20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. 22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. 23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. 25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill? 26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? 27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is. 28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. 29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. 30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. 31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done? 32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him. 33 Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. 34 Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come. 35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? 36 What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come? 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) 40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. 41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? 43 So there was a division among the people because of him. 44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him. 45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him? 46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man. 47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived? 48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? 49 But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed. 50 Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) 51 Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? 52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet. 53 And every man went unto his own house. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Provérbios 4 1 Ouvi, filhos, a instrução do pai e estai atentos para conhecerdes o entendimento; 2 porque vos dou boa doutrina; não deixeis o meu ensino. 3 Quando eu era filho em companhia de meu pai, tenro e único diante de minha mãe, 4 então, ele me ensinava e me dizia: Retenha o teu coração as minhas palavras; guarda os meus mandamentos e vive; 5 adquire a sabedoria, adquire o entendimento e não te esqueças das palavras da minha boca, nem delas te apartes. 6 Não desampares a sabedoria, e ela te guardará; ama-a, e ela te protegerá. 7 O princípio da sabedoria é: Adquire a sabedoria; sim, com tudo o que possuis, adquire o entendimento. 8 Estima-a, e ela te exaltará; se a abraçares, ela te honrará; 9 dará à tua cabeça um diadema de graça e uma coroa de glória te entregará. 10 Ouve, filho meu, e aceita as minhas palavras, e se te multiplicarão os anos de vida. 11 No caminho da sabedoria, te ensinei e pelas veredas da retidão te fiz andar. 12 Em andando por elas, não se embaraçarão os teus passos; se correres, não tropeçarás. 13 Retém a instrução e não a largues; guarda-a, porque ela é a tua vida. 14 Não entres na vereda dos perversos, nem sigas pelo caminho dos maus. 15 Evita-o; não passes por ele; desvia-te dele e passa de largo; 16 pois não dormem, se não fizerem mal, e foge deles o sono, se não fizerem tropeçar alguém; 17 porque comem o pão da impiedade e bebem o vinho das violências. 18 Mas a vereda dos justos é como a luz da aurora, que vai brilhando mais e mais até ser dia perfeito. 19 O caminho dos perversos é como a escuridão; nem sabem eles em que tropeçam. 20 Filho meu, atenta para as minhas palavras; aos meus ensinamentos inclina os ouvidos. 21 Não os deixes apartar-se dos teus olhos; guarda-os no mais íntimo do teu coração. 22 Porque são vida para quem os acha e saúde, para o seu corpo. 23 Sobre tudo o que se deve guardar, guarda o coração, porque dele procedem as fontes da vida. 24 Desvia de ti a falsidade da boca e afasta de ti a perversidade dos lábios. 25 Os teus olhos olhem direito, e as tuas pálpebras, diretamente diante de ti. 26 Pondera a vereda de teus pés, e todos os teus caminhos sejam retos. 27 Não declines nem para a direita nem para a esquerda; retira o teu pé do mal. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  4 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. 2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. 3 For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. 4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. 5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. 10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. 11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. 12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. 13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. 14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. 16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. 25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
