LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Gênesis 39 Marcos 10  Jó 6 LEITURA  7º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Gênesis 39 1 José foi levado ao Egito, e Potifar, oficial de Faraó, comandante da guarda, egípcio, comprou-o dos ismaelitas que o tinham levado para lá. 2 O SENHOR era com José, que veio a ser homem próspero; e estava na casa de seu senhor egípcio. 3 Vendo Potifar que o SENHOR era com ele e que tudo o que ele fazia o SENHOR prosperava em suas mãos, 4 logrou José mercê perante ele, a quem servia; e ele o pôs por mordomo de sua casa e lhe passou às mãos tudo o que tinha. 5 E, desde que o fizera mordomo de sua casa e sobre tudo o que tinha, o SENHOR abençoou a casa do egípcio por amor de José; a bênção do SENHOR estava sobre tudo o que tinha, tanto em casa como no campo. 6 Potifar tudo o que tinha confiou às mãos de José, de maneira que, tendo-o por mordomo, de nada sabia, além do pão com que se alimentava. José era formoso de porte e de aparência. 7 Aconteceu, depois destas coisas, que a mulher de seu senhor pôs os olhos em José e lhe disse: Deita-te comigo. 8 Ele, porém, recusou e disse à mulher do seu senhor: Tem-me por mordomo o meu senhor e não sabe do que há em casa, pois tudo o que tem me passou ele às minhas mãos. 9 Ele não é maior do que eu nesta casa e nenhuma coisa me vedou, senão a ti, porque és sua mulher; como, pois, cometeria eu tamanha maldade e pecaria contra Deus? 10 Falando ela a José todos os dias, e não lhe dando ele ouvidos, para se deitar com ela e estar com ela, 11 sucedeu que, certo dia, veio ele a casa, para atender aos negócios; e ninguém dos de casa se achava presente. 12 Então, ela o pegou pelas vestes e lhe disse: Deita-te comigo; ele, porém, deixando as vestes nas mãos dela, saiu, fugindo para fora. 13 Vendo ela que ele fugira para fora, mas havia deixado as vestes nas mãos dela, 14 chamou pelos homens de sua casa e lhes disse: Vede, trouxe-nos meu marido este hebreu para insultar-nos; veio até mim para se deitar comigo; mas eu gritei em alta voz. 15 Ouvindo ele que eu levantava a voz e gritava, deixou as vestes ao meu lado e saiu, fugindo para fora. 16 Conservou ela junto de si as vestes dele, até que seu senhor tornou a casa. 17 Então, lhe falou, segundo as mesmas palavras, e disse: O servo hebreu, que nos trouxeste, veio ter comigo para insultar-me; 18 quando, porém, levantei a voz e gritei, ele, deixando as vestes ao meu lado, fugiu para fora. 19 Tendo o senhor ouvido as palavras de sua mulher, como lhe tinha dito: Desta maneira me fez o teu servo; então, se lhe acendeu a ira. 20 E o senhor de José o tomou e o lançou no cárcere, no lugar onde os presos do rei estavam encarcerados; ali ficou ele na prisão. 21 O SENHOR, porém, era com José, e lhe foi benigno, e lhe deu mercê perante o carcereiro; 22 o qual confiou às mãos de José todos os presos que estavam no cárcere; e ele fazia tudo quanto se devia fazer ali. 23 E nenhum cuidado tinha o carcereiro de todas as coisas que estavam nas mãos de José, porquanto o SENHOR era com ele, e tudo o que ele fazia o SENHOR prosperava. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  39 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. 2 And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. 5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. 6 And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. 11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. 13 And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, 14 That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: 15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out. 16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. 17 And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: 18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. 19 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. 20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. 21 But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. 23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the Lord was with him, and that which he did, the Lord made it to prosper. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Marcos 10 1 Levantando-se Jesus, foi dali para o território da Judéia, além do Jordão. E outra vez as multidões se reuniram junto a ele, e, de novo, ele as ensinava, segundo o seu costume. 2 E, aproximando-se alguns fariseus, o experimentaram, perguntando-lhe: É lícito ao marido repudiar sua mulher? 3 Ele lhes respondeu: Que vos ordenou Moisés? 4 Tornaram eles: Moisés permitiu lavrar carta de divórcio e repudiar. 5 Mas Jesus lhes disse: Por causa da dureza do vosso coração, ele vos deixou escrito esse mandamento; 6 porém, desde o princípio da criação, Deus os fez homem e mulher. 7 Por isso, deixará o homem a seu pai e mãe [e unir-se-á a sua mulher], 8 e, com sua mulher, serão os dois uma só carne. De modo que já não são dois, mas uma só carne. 9 Portanto, o que Deus ajuntou não separe o homem. 10 Em casa, voltaram os discípulos a interrogá-lo sobre este assunto. 11 E ele lhes disse: Quem repudiar sua mulher e casar com outra comete adultério contra aquela. 12 E, se ela repudiar seu marido e casar com outro, comete adultério. 13 Então, lhe trouxeram algumas crianças para que as tocasse, mas os discípulos os repreendiam. 14 Jesus, porém, vendo isto, indignou-se e disse-lhes: Deixai vir a mim os pequeninos, não os embaraceis, porque dos tais é o reino de Deus. 15 Em verdade vos digo: Quem não receber o reino de Deus como uma criança de maneira nenhuma entrará nele. 16 Então, tomando-as nos braços e impondo-lhes as mãos, as abençoava. 17 E, pondo-se Jesus a caminho, correu um homem ao seu encontro e, ajoelhando-se, perguntou-lhe: Bom Mestre, que farei para herdar a vida eterna? 18 Respondeu-lhe Jesus: Por que me chamas bom? Ninguém é bom senão um, que é Deus. 19 Sabes os mandamentos: Não matarás, não adulterarás, não furtarás, não dirás falso testemunho, não defraudarás ninguém, honra a teu pai e tua mãe. 20 Então, ele respondeu: Mestre, tudo isso tenho observado desde a minha juventude. 21 E Jesus, fitando-o, o amou e disse: Só uma coisa te falta: Vai, vende tudo o que tens, dá-o aos pobres e terás um tesouro no céu; então, vem e segue-me. 22 Ele, porém, contrariado com esta palavra, retirou-se triste, porque era dono de muitas propriedades. 23 Então, Jesus, olhando ao redor, disse aos seus discípulos: Quão dificilmente entrarão no reino de Deus os que têm riquezas! 24 Os discípulos estranharam estas palavras; mas Jesus insistiu em dizer-lhes: Filhos, quão difícil é [para os que confiam nas riquezas] entrar no reino de Deus! 25 É mais fácil passar um camelo pelo fundo de uma agulha do que entrar um rico no reino de Deus. 26 Eles ficaram sobremodo maravilhados, dizendo entre si: Então, quem pode ser salvo? 27 Jesus, porém, fitando neles o olhar, disse: Para os homens é impossível; contudo, não para Deus, porque para Deus tudo é possível. 28 Então, Pedro começou a dizer-lhe: Eis que nós tudo deixamos e te seguimos. 29 Tornou Jesus: Em verdade vos digo que ninguém há que tenha deixado casa, ou irmãos, ou irmãs, ou mãe, ou pai, ou filhos, ou campos por amor de mim e por amor do evangelho, 30 que não receba, já no presente, o cêntuplo de casas, irmãos, irmãs, mães, filhos e campos, com perseguições; e, no mundo por vir, a vida eterna. 31 Porém muitos primeiros serão últimos; e os últimos, primeiros. 32 Estavam de caminho, subindo para Jerusalém, e Jesus ia adiante dos seus discípulos. Estes se admiravam e o seguiam tomados de apreensões. E Jesus, tornando a levar à parte os doze, passou a revelar-lhes as coisas que lhe deviam sobrevir, dizendo: 33 Eis que subimos para Jerusalém, e o Filho do Homem será entregue aos principais sacerdotes e aos escribas; condená-lo-ão à morte e o entregarão aos gentios; 34 hão de escarnecê-lo, cuspir nele, açoitá-lo e matá-lo; mas, depois de três dias, ressuscitará. 35 Então, se aproximaram dele Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, dizendo-lhe: Mestre, queremos que nos concedas o que te vamos pedir. 36 E ele lhes perguntou: Que quereis que vos faça? 37 Responderam-lhe: Permite-nos que, na tua glória, nos assentemos um à tua direita e o outro à tua esquerda. 38 Mas Jesus lhes disse: Não sabeis o que pedis. Podeis vós beber o cálice que eu bebo ou receber o batismo com que eu sou batizado? 39 Disseram-lhe: Podemos. Tornou-lhes Jesus: Bebereis o cálice que eu bebo e recebereis o batismo com que eu sou batizado; 40 quanto, porém, ao assentar-se à minha direita ou à minha esquerda, não me compete concedê-lo; porque é para aqueles a quem está preparado. 41 Ouvindo isto, indignaram-se os dez contra Tiago e João. 42 Mas Jesus, chamando-os para junto de si, disse-lhes: Sabeis que os que são considerados governadores dos povos têm-nos sob seu domínio, e sobre eles os seus maiorais exercem autoridade. 43 Mas entre vós não é assim; pelo contrário, quem quiser tornar-se grande entre vós, será esse o que vos sirva; 44 e quem quiser ser o primeiro entre vós será servo de todos. 45 Pois o próprio Filho do Homem não veio para ser servido, mas para servir e dar a sua vida em resgate por muitos. 46 E foram para Jericó. Quando ele saía de Jericó, juntamente com os discípulos e numerosa multidão, Bartimeu, cego mendigo, filho de Timeu, estava assentado à beira do caminho 47 e, ouvindo que era Jesus, o Nazareno, pôs-se a clamar: Jesus, Filho de Davi, tem compaixão de mim! 48 E muitos o repreendiam, para que se calasse; mas ele cada vez gritava mais: Filho de Davi, tem misericórdia de mim! 49 Parou Jesus e disse: Chamai-o. Chamaram, então, o cego, dizendo-lhe: Tem bom ânimo; levanta-te, ele te chama. 50 Lançando de si a capa, levantou-se de um salto e foi ter com Jesus. 51 Perguntou-lhe Jesus: Que queres que eu te faça? Respondeu o cego: Mestre, que eu torne a ver. 52 Então, Jesus lhe disse: Vai, a tua fé te salvou. E imediatamente tornou a ver e seguia a Jesus estrada fora. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  10 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again. 2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. 3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? 4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. 5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. 11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. 13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them. 17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. 19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. 22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. 23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? 27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. 28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first. 32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, 33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: 34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again. 35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire. 36 And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? 37 They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory. 38 But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? 39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: 40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared. 41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John. 42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. 43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: 44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. 45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. 46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. 49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. 50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. 52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. Se a minha queixa, de fato, se pesasse, e contra ela, numa balança, se pusesse a minha miséria, 3 esta, na verdade, pesaria mais que a areia dos mares; por isso é que as minhas palavras foram precipitadas. 4 Porque as flechas do Todo-Poderoso estão em mim cravadas, e o meu espírito sorve o veneno delas; os terrores de Deus se arregimentam contra mim. 5 Zurrará o jumento montês junto à relva? Ou mugirá o boi junto à sua forragem? 6 Comer-se-á sem sal o que é insípido? Ou haverá sabor na clara do ovo? 7 Aquilo que a minha alma recusava tocar, isso é agora a minha comida repugnante. 8 Quem dera que se cumprisse o meu pedido, e que Deus me concedesse o que anelo! 9 Que fosse do agrado de Deus esmagar-me, que soltasse a sua mão e acabasse comigo! 10 Isto ainda seria a minha consolação, e saltaria de contente na minha dor, que ele não poupa; porque não tenho negado as palavras do Santo. 11 Por que esperar, se já não tenho forças? Por que prolongar a vida, se o meu fim é certo? 12 Acaso, a minha força é a força da pedra? Ou é de bronze a minha carne? 13 Não! Jamais haverá socorro para mim; foram afastados de mim os meus recursos. 14 Ao aflito deve o amigo mostrar compaixão, a menos que tenha abandonado o temor do Todo-Poderoso. 15 Meus irmãos aleivosamente me trataram; são como um ribeiro, como a torrente que transborda no vale, 16 turvada com o gelo e com a neve que nela se esconde, 17 torrente que no tempo do calor seca, emudece e desaparece do seu lugar. 18 Desviam-se as caravanas dos seus caminhos, sobem para lugares desolados e perecem. 19 As caravanas de Temá procuram essa torrente, os viajantes de Sabá por ela suspiram. 20 Ficam envergonhados por terem confiado; em chegando ali, confundem-se. 21 Assim também vós outros sois nada para mim; vedes os meus males e vos espantais. 22 Acaso, disse eu: dai-me um presente? Ou: oferecei-me um suborno da vossa fazenda? 23 Ou: livrai-me do poder do opressor? Ou: redimi-me das mãos dos tiranos? 24 Ensinai-me, e eu me calarei; dai-me a entender em que tenho errado. 25 Oh! Como são persuasivas as palavras retas! Mas que é o que repreende a vossa repreensão? 26 Acaso, pensais em reprovar as minhas palavras, ditas por um desesperado ao vento? 27 Até sobre o órfão lançaríeis sorte e especularíeis com o vosso amigo? 28 Agora, pois, se sois servidos, olhai para mim e vede que não minto na vossa cara. 29 Tornai a julgar, vos peço, e não haja iniqüidade; tornai a julgar, e a justiça da minha causa triunfará. 30 Há iniqüidade na minha língua? Não pode o meu paladar discernir coisas perniciosas? ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  6 But Job answered and said, 2 Oh that my grief were throughly weighed, and my calamity laid in the balances together! 3 For now it would be heavier than the sand of the sea: therefore my words are swallowed up. 4 For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array against me. 5 Doth the wild ass bray when he hath grass? or loweth the ox over his fodder? 6 Can that which is unsavoury be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of an egg? 7 The things that my soul refused to touch are as my sorrowful meat. 8 Oh that I might have my request; and that God would grant me the thing that I long for! 9 Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off! 10 Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow: let him not spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One. 11 What is my strength, that I should hope? and what is mine end, that I should prolong my life? 12 Is my strength the strength of stones? or is my flesh of brass? 13 Is not my help in me? and is wisdom driven quite from me? 14 To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend; but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty. 15 My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks they pass away; 16 Which are blackish by reason of the ice, and wherein the snow is hid: 17 What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place. 18 The paths of their way are turned aside; they go to nothing, and perish. 19 The troops of Tema looked, the companies of Sheba waited for them. 20 They were confounded because they had hoped; they came thither, and were ashamed. 21 For now ye are nothing; ye see my casting down, and are afraid. 22 Did I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance? 23 Or, Deliver me from the enemy's hand? or, Redeem me from the hand of the mighty? 24 Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred. 25 How forcible are right words! but what doth your arguing reprove? 26 Do ye imagine to reprove words, and the speeches of one that is desperate, which are as wind? 27 Yea, ye overwhelm the fatherless, and ye dig a pit for your friend. 28 Now therefore be content, look upon me; for it is evident unto you if I lie. 29 Return, I pray you, let it not be iniquity; yea, return again, my righteousness is in it. 30 Is there iniquity in my tongue? cannot my taste discern perverse things? ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
