LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Êxodo 24 João 4  Provérbios 1 LEITURA  14º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Êxodo 24 1 Disse também Deus a Moisés: Sobe ao SENHOR, tu, e Arão, e Nadabe, e Abiú, e setenta dos anciãos de Israel; e adorai de longe. 2 Só Moisés se chegará ao SENHOR; os outros não se chegarão, nem o povo subirá com ele. 3 Veio, pois, Moisés e referiu ao povo todas as palavras do SENHOR e todos os estatutos; então, todo o povo respondeu a uma voz e disse: Tudo o que falou o SENHOR faremos. 4 Moisés escreveu todas as palavras do SENHOR e, tendo-se levantado pela manhã de madrugada, erigiu um altar ao pé do monte e doze colunas, segundo as doze tribos de Israel. 5 E enviou alguns jovens dos filhos de Israel, os quais ofereceram ao SENHOR holocaustos e sacrifícios pacíficos de novilhos. 6 Moisés tomou metade do sangue e o pôs em bacias; e a outra metade aspergiu sobre o altar. 7 E tomou o livro da aliança e o leu ao povo; e eles disseram: Tudo o que falou o SENHOR faremos e obedeceremos. 8 Então, tomou Moisés aquele sangue, e o aspergiu sobre o povo, e disse: Eis aqui o sangue da aliança que o SENHOR fez convosco a respeito de todas estas palavras. 9 E subiram Moisés, e Arão, e Nadabe, e Abiú, e setenta dos anciãos de Israel. 10 E viram o Deus de Israel, sob cujos pés havia uma como pavimentação de pedra de safira, que se parecia com o céu na sua claridade. 11 Ele não estendeu a mão sobre os escolhidos dos filhos de Israel; porém eles viram a Deus, e comeram, e beberam. 12 Então, disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Sobe a mim, ao monte, e fica lá; dar-te-ei tábuas de pedra, e a lei, e os mandamentos que escrevi, para os ensinares. 13 Levantou-se Moisés com Josué, seu servidor; e, subindo Moisés ao monte de Deus, 14 disse aos anciãos: Esperai-nos aqui até que voltemos a vós outros. Eis que Arão e Hur ficam convosco; quem tiver alguma questão se chegará a eles. 15 Tendo Moisés subido, uma nuvem cobriu o monte. 16 E a glória do SENHOR pousou sobre o monte Sinai, e a nuvem o cobriu por seis dias; ao sétimo dia, do meio da nuvem chamou o SENHOR a Moisés. 17 O aspecto da glória do SENHOR era como um fogo consumidor no cimo do monte, aos olhos dos filhos de Israel. 18 E Moisés, entrando pelo meio da nuvem, subiu ao monte; e lá permaneceu quarenta dias e quarenta noites. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  24 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the Lord, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off. 2 And Moses alone shall come near the Lord: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him. 3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the Lord hath said will we do. 4 And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the Lord. 6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient. 8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words. 9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: 10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. 11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink. 12 And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. 13 And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God. 14 And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them. 15 And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. 16 And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  João 4 1 Quando, pois, o Senhor veio a saber que os fariseus tinham ouvido dizer que ele, Jesus, fazia e batizava mais discípulos que João 2 (se bem que Jesus mesmo não batizava, e sim os seus discípulos), 3 deixou a Judéia, retirando-se outra vez para a Galiléia. 4 E era-lhe necessário atravessar a província de Samaria. 5 Chegou, pois, a uma cidade samaritana, chamada Sicar, perto das terras que Jacó dera a seu filho José. 6 Estava ali a fonte de Jacó. Cansado da viagem, assentara-se Jesus junto à fonte, por volta da hora sexta. 7 Nisto, veio uma mulher samaritana tirar água. Disse-lhe Jesus: Dá-me de beber. 8 Pois seus discípulos tinham ido à cidade para comprar alimentos. 9 Então, lhe disse a mulher samaritana: Como, sendo tu judeu, pedes de beber a mim, que sou mulher samaritana (porque os judeus não se dão com os samaritanos)? 10 Replicou-lhe Jesus: Se conheceras o dom de Deus e quem é o que te pede: dá-me de beber, tu lhe pedirias, e ele te daria água viva. 11 Respondeu-lhe ela: Senhor, tu não tens com que a tirar, e o poço é fundo; onde, pois, tens a água viva? 12 És tu, porventura, maior do que Jacó, o nosso pai, que nos deu o poço, do qual ele mesmo bebeu, e, bem assim, seus filhos, e seu gado? 13 Afirmou-lhe Jesus: Quem beber desta água tornará a ter sede; 14 aquele, porém, que beber da água que eu lhe der nunca mais terá sede; pelo contrário, a água que eu lhe der será nele uma fonte a jorrar para a vida eterna. 15 Disse-lhe a mulher: Senhor, dá-me dessa água para que eu não mais tenha sede, nem precise vir aqui buscá-la. 16 Disse-lhe Jesus: Vai, chama teu marido e vem cá; 17 ao que lhe respondeu a mulher: Não tenho marido. Replicou-lhe Jesus: Bem disseste, não tenho marido; 18 porque cinco maridos já tiveste, e esse que agora tens não é teu marido; isto disseste com verdade. 19 Senhor, disse-lhe a mulher, vejo que tu és profeta. 20 Nossos pais adoravam neste monte; vós, entretanto, dizeis que em Jerusalém é o lugar onde se deve adorar. 21 Disse-lhe Jesus: Mulher, podes crer-me que a hora vem, quando nem neste monte, nem em Jerusalém adorareis o Pai. 22 Vós adorais o que não conheceis; nós adoramos o que conhecemos, porque a salvação vem dos judeus. 23 Mas vem a hora e já chegou, em que os verdadeiros adoradores adorarão o Pai em espírito e em verdade; porque são estes que o Pai procura para seus adoradores. 24 Deus é espírito; e importa que os seus adoradores o adorem em espírito e em verdade. 25 Eu sei, respondeu a mulher, que há de vir o Messias, chamado Cristo; quando ele vier, nos anunciará todas as coisas. 26 Disse-lhe Jesus: Eu o sou, eu que falo contigo. 27 Neste ponto, chegaram os seus discípulos e se admiraram de que estivesse falando com uma mulher; todavia, nenhum lhe disse: Que perguntas? Ou: Por que falas com ela? 28 Quanto à mulher, deixou o seu cântaro, foi à cidade e disse àqueles homens: 29 Vinde comigo e vede um homem que me disse tudo quanto tenho feito. Será este, porventura, o Cristo?! 30 Saíram, pois, da cidade e vieram ter com ele. 31 Nesse ínterim, os discípulos lhe rogavam, dizendo: Mestre, come! 32 Mas ele lhes disse: Uma comida tenho para comer, que vós não conheceis. 33 Diziam, então, os discípulos uns aos outros: Ter-lhe-ia, porventura, alguém trazido o que comer? 34 Disse-lhes Jesus: A minha comida consiste em fazer a vontade daquele que me enviou e realizar a sua obra. 35 Não dizeis vós que ainda há quatro meses até à ceifa? Eu, porém, vos digo: erguei os olhos e vede os campos, pois já branquejam para a ceifa. 36 O ceifeiro recebe desde já a recompensa e entesoura o seu fruto para a vida eterna; e, dessarte, se alegram tanto o semeador como o ceifeiro. 37 Pois, no caso, é verdadeiro o ditado: Um é o semeador, e outro é o ceifeiro. 38 Eu vos enviei para ceifar o que não semeastes; outros trabalharam, e vós entrastes no seu trabalho. 39 Muitos samaritanos daquela cidade creram nele, em virtude do testemunho da mulher, que anunciara: Ele me disse tudo quanto tenho feito. 40 Vindo, pois, os samaritanos ter com Jesus, pediam-lhe que permanecesse com eles; e ficou ali dois dias. 41 Muitos outros creram nele, por causa da sua palavra, 42 e diziam à mulher: Já agora não é pelo que disseste que nós cremos; mas porque nós mesmos temos ouvido e sabemos que este é verdadeiramente o Salvador do mundo. 43 Passados dois dias, partiu dali para a Galiléia. 44 Porque o mesmo Jesus testemunhou que um profeta não tem honras na sua própria terra. 45 Assim, quando chegou à Galiléia, os galileus o receberam, porque viram todas as coisas que ele fizera em Jerusalém, por ocasião da festa, à qual eles também tinham comparecido. 46 Dirigiu-se, de novo, a Caná da Galiléia, onde da água fizera vinho. Ora, havia um oficial do rei, cujo filho estava doente em Cafarnaum. 47 Tendo ouvido dizer que Jesus viera da Judéia para a Galiléia, foi ter com ele e lhe rogou que descesse para curar seu filho, que estava à morte. 48 Então, Jesus lhe disse: Se, porventura, não virdes sinais e prodígios, de modo nenhum crereis. 49 Rogou-lhe o oficial: Senhor, desce, antes que meu filho morra. 50 Vai, disse-lhe Jesus; teu filho vive. O homem creu na palavra de Jesus e partiu. 51 Já ele descia, quando os seus servos lhe vieram ao encontro, anunciando-lhe que o seu filho vivia. 52 Então, indagou deles a que hora o seu filho se sentira melhor. Informaram: Ontem, à hora sétima a febre o deixou. 53 Com isto, reconheceu o pai ser aquela precisamente a hora em que Jesus lhe dissera: Teu filho vive; e creu ele e toda a sua casa. 54 Foi este o segundo sinal que fez Jesus, depois de vir da Judéia para a Galiléia. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  4When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, 2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) 3 He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. 4 And he must needs go through Samaria. 5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. 7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. 15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. 31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. 39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. 40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. 41 And many more believed because of his own word; 42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. 43 Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee. 44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. 45 Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast. 46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. 48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. 49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. 50 Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. 51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. 52 Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. 53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. 54 This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Provérbios 1 1 Provérbios de Salomão, filho de Davi, o rei de Israel. 2 Para aprender a sabedoria e o ensino; para entender as palavras de inteligência; 3 para obter o ensino do bom proceder, a justiça, o juízo e a eqüidade; 4 para dar aos simples prudência e aos jovens, conhecimento e bom siso. 5 Ouça o sábio e cresça em prudência; e o instruído adquira habilidade 6 para entender provérbios e parábolas, as palavras e enigmas dos sábios. 7 O temor do SENHOR é o princípio do saber, mas os loucos desprezam a sabedoria e o ensino. 8 Filho meu, ouve o ensino de teu pai e não deixes a instrução de tua mãe. 9 Porque serão diadema de graça para a tua cabeça e colares, para o teu pescoço. 10 Filho meu, se os pecadores querem seduzir-te, não o consintas. 11 Se disserem: Vem conosco, embosquemo-nos para derramar sangue, espreitemos, ainda que sem motivo, os inocentes; 12 traguemo-los vivos, como o abismo, e inteiros, como os que descem à cova; 13 acharemos toda sorte de bens preciosos; encheremos de despojos a nossa casa; 14 lança a tua sorte entre nós; teremos todos uma só bolsa. 15 Filho meu, não te ponhas a caminho com eles; guarda das suas veredas os pés; 16 porque os seus pés correm para o mal e se apressam a derramar sangue. 17 Pois debalde se estende a rede à vista de qualquer ave. 18 Estes se emboscam contra o seu próprio sangue e a sua própria vida espreitam. 19 Tal é a sorte de todo ganancioso; e este espírito de ganância tira a vida de quem o possui. 20 Grita na rua a Sabedoria, nas praças, levanta a voz; 21 do alto dos muros clama, à entrada das portas e nas cidades profere as suas palavras: 22 Até quando, ó néscios, amareis a necedade? E vós, escarnecedores, desejareis o escárnio? E vós, loucos, aborrecereis o conhecimento? 23 Atentai para a minha repreensão; eis que derramarei copiosamente para vós outros o meu espírito e vos farei saber as minhas palavras. 24 Mas, porque clamei, e vós recusastes; porque estendi a mão, e não houve quem atendesse; 25 antes, rejeitastes todo o meu conselho e não quisestes a minha repreensão; 26 também eu me rirei na vossa desventura, e, em vindo o vosso terror, eu zombarei, 27 em vindo o vosso terror como a tempestade, em vindo a vossa perdição como o redemoinho, quando vos chegar o aperto e a angústia. 28 Então, me invocarão, mas eu não responderei; procurar-me-ão, porém não me hão de achar. 29 Porquanto aborreceram o conhecimento e não preferiram o temor do SENHOR; 30 não quiseram o meu conselho e desprezaram toda a minha repreensão. 31 Portanto, comerão do fruto do seu procedimento e dos seus próprios conselhos se fartarão. 32 Os néscios são mortos por seu desvio, e aos loucos a sua impressão de bem-estar os leva à perdição. 33 Mas o que me der ouvidos habitará seguro, tranqüilo e sem temor do mal. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; 2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. 10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. 11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: 12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: 13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: 14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: 15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: 16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. 17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. 18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. 19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof. 20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: 21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, 22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? 23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: 30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. 33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
