Então, passou os filhos a Lia, a Raquel e às duas servas. 2 Pôs as servas e seus filhos à frente, Lia e seus filhos atrás deles e Raquel e José por últimos. 3 E ele mesmo, adiantando-se, prostrou-se à terra sete vezes, até aproximar-se de seu irmão. 4 Então, Esaú correu-lhe ao encontro e o abraçou; arrojou-se-lhe ao pescoço e o beijou; e choraram. 5 Daí, levantando os olhos, viu as mulheres e os meninos e disse: Quem são estes contigo? Respondeu-lhe Jacó: Os filhos com que Deus agraciou a teu servo. 6 Então, se aproximaram as servas, elas e seus filhos, e se prostraram. 7 Chegaram também Lia e seus filhos e se prostraram; por último chegaram José e Raquel e se prostraram. 8 Perguntou Esaú: Qual é o teu propósito com todos esses bandos que encontrei? Respondeu Jacó: Para lograr mercê na presença de meu senhor. 9 Então, disse Esaú: Eu tenho muitos bens, meu irmão; guarda o que tens. 10 Mas Jacó insistiu: Não recuses; se logrei mercê diante de ti, peço-te que aceites o meu presente, porquanto vi o teu rosto como se tivesse contemplado o semblante de Deus; e te agradaste de mim. 11 Peço-te, pois, recebe o meu presente, que eu te trouxe; porque Deus tem sido generoso para comigo, e tenho fartura. E instou com ele, até que o aceitou. 12 Disse Esaú: Partamos e caminhemos; eu seguirei junto de ti. 13 Porém Jacó lhe disse: Meu senhor sabe que estes meninos são tenros, e tenho comigo ovelhas e vacas de leite; se forçadas a caminhar demais um só dia, morrerão todos os rebanhos. 14 Passe meu senhor adiante de seu servo; eu seguirei guiando-as pouco a pouco, no passo do gado que me vai à frente e no passo dos meninos, até chegar a meu senhor, em Seir. 15 Respondeu Esaú: Então, permite que eu deixe contigo da gente que está comigo. Disse Jacó: Para quê? Basta que eu alcance mercê aos olhos de meu senhor. 16 Assim, voltou Esaú aquele dia a Seir, pelo caminho por onde viera. 17 E Jacó partiu para Sucote, e edificou para si uma casa, e fez palhoças para o seu gado; por isso, o lugar se chamou Sucote. 18 Voltando de Padã-Arã, chegou Jacó são e salvo à cidade de Siquém, que está na terra de Canaã; e armou a sua tenda junto da cidade. 19 A parte do campo, onde armara a sua tenda, ele a comprou dos filhos de Hamor, pai de Siquém, por cem peças de dinheiro. 20 E levantou ali um altar e lhe chamou Deus, o Deus de Israel. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  33 And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids. 2 And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost. 3 And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother. 4 And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept. 5 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant. 6 Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves. 7 And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves. 8 And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord. 9 And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself. 10 And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me. 11 Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it. 12 And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee. 13 And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die. 14 Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir. 15 And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord. 16 So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir. 17 And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth. 18 And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city. 19 And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money. 20 And he erected there an altar, and called it EleloheIsrael. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Marcos 4 1 Voltou Jesus a ensinar à beira-mar. E reuniu-se numerosa multidão a ele, de modo que entrou num barco, onde se assentou, afastando-se da praia. E todo o povo estava à beira-mar, na praia. 2 Assim, lhes ensinava muitas coisas por parábolas, no decorrer do seu doutrinamento. 3 Ouvi: Eis que saiu o semeador a semear. 4 E, ao semear, uma parte caiu à beira do caminho, e vieram as aves e a comeram. 5 Outra caiu em solo rochoso, onde a terra era pouca, e logo nasceu, visto não ser profunda a terra. 6 Saindo, porém, o sol, a queimou; e, porque não tinha raiz, secou-se. 7 Outra parte caiu entre os espinhos; e os espinhos cresceram e a sufocaram, e não deu fruto. 8 Outra, enfim, caiu em boa terra e deu fruto, que vingou e cresceu, produzindo a trinta, a sessenta e a cem por um. 9 E acrescentou: Quem tem ouvidos para ouvir, ouça. 10 Quando Jesus ficou só, os que estavam junto dele com os doze o interrogaram a respeito das parábolas. 11 Ele lhes respondeu: A vós outros vos é dado conhecer o mistério do reino de Deus; mas, aos de fora, tudo se ensina por meio de parábolas, 12 para que, vendo, vejam e não percebam; e, ouvindo, ouçam e não entendam; para que não venham a converter-se, e haja perdão para eles. 13 Então, lhes perguntou: Não entendeis esta parábola e como compreendereis todas as parábolas? 14 O semeador semeia a palavra. 15 São estes os da beira do caminho, onde a palavra é semeada; e, enquanto a ouvem, logo vem Satanás e tira a palavra semeada neles. 16 Semelhantemente, são estes os semeados em solo rochoso, os quais, ouvindo a palavra, logo a recebem com alegria. 17 Mas eles não têm raiz em si mesmos, sendo, antes, de pouca duração; em lhes chegando a angústia ou a perseguição por causa da palavra, logo se escandalizam. 18 Os outros, os semeados entre os espinhos, são os que ouvem a palavra, 19 mas os cuidados do mundo, a fascinação da riqueza e as demais ambições, concorrendo, sufocam a palavra, ficando ela infrutífera. 20 Os que foram semeados em boa terra são aqueles que ouvem a palavra e a recebem, frutificando a trinta, a sessenta e a cem por um. 21 Também lhes disse: Vem, porventura, a candeia para ser posta debaixo do alqueire ou da cama? Não vem, antes, para ser colocada no velador? 22 Pois nada está oculto, senão para ser manifesto; e nada se faz escondido, senão para ser revelado. 23 Se alguém tem ouvidos para ouvir, ouça. 24 Então, lhes disse: Atentai no que ouvis. Com a medida com que tiverdes medido vos medirão também, e ainda se vos acrescentará. 25 Pois ao que tem se lhe dará; e, ao que não tem, até o que tem lhe será tirado. 26 Disse ainda: O reino de Deus é assim como se um homem lançasse a semente à terra; 27 depois, dormisse e se levantasse, de noite e de dia, e a semente germinasse e crescesse, não sabendo ele como. 28 A terra por si mesma frutifica: primeiro a erva, depois, a espiga, e, por fim, o grão cheio na espiga. 29 E, quando o fruto já está maduro, logo se lhe mete a foice, porque é chegada a ceifa. 30 Disse mais: A que assemelharemos o reino de Deus? Ou com que parábola o apresentaremos? 31 É como um grão de mostarda, que, quando semeado, é a menor de todas as sementes sobre a terra; 32 mas, uma vez semeada, cresce e se torna maior do que todas as hortaliças e deita grandes ramos, a ponto de as aves do céu poderem aninhar-se à sua sombra. 33 E com muitas parábolas semelhantes lhes expunha a palavra, conforme o permitia a capacidade dos ouvintes. 34 E sem parábolas não lhes falava; tudo, porém, explicava em particular aos seus próprios discípulos. 35 Naquele dia, sendo já tarde, disse-lhes Jesus: Passemos para a outra margem. 36 E eles, despedindo a multidão, o levaram assim como estava, no barco; e outros barcos o seguiam. 37 Ora, levantou-se grande temporal de vento, e as ondas se arremessavam contra o barco, de modo que o mesmo já estava a encher-se de água. 38 E Jesus estava na popa, dormindo sobre o travesseiro; eles o despertaram e lhe disseram: Mestre, não te importa que pereçamos? 39 E ele, despertando, repreendeu o vento e disse ao mar: Acalma-te, emudece! O vento se aquietou, e fez-se grande bonança. 40 Então, lhes disse: Por que sois assim tímidos?! Como é que não tendes fé? 41 E eles, possuídos de grande temor, diziam uns aos outros: Quem é este que até o vento e o mar lhe obedecem? ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  4 And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land. 2 And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine, 3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: 4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. 5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: 6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. 8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. 9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. 13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? 14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. 18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. 21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? 22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. 23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath. 26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. 29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. 30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? 31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: 32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it. 33 And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it. 34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples. 35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. 36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. 37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. 38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Ester 9 1 No dia treze do duodécimo mês, que é o mês de adar, quando chegou a palavra do rei e a sua ordem para se executar, no dia em que os inimigos dos judeus contavam assenhorear-se deles, sucedeu o contrário, pois os judeus é que se assenhorearam dos que os odiavam; 2 porque os judeus, nas suas cidades, em todas as províncias do rei Assuero, se ajuntaram para dar cabo daqueles que lhes procuravam o mal; e ninguém podia resistir-lhes, porque o terror que inspiravam caiu sobre todos aqueles povos. 3 Todos os príncipes das províncias, e os sátrapas, e os governadores, e os oficiais do rei auxiliavam os judeus, porque tinha caído sobre eles o temor de Mordecai. 4 Porque Mordecai era grande na casa do rei, e a sua fama crescia por todas as províncias; pois ele se ia tornando mais e mais poderoso. 5 Feriram, pois, os judeus a todos os seus inimigos, a golpes de espada, com matança e destruição; e fizeram dos seus inimigos o que bem quiseram. 6 Na cidadela de Susã, os judeus mataram e destruíram a quinhentos homens, 7 como também a Parsandata, a Dalfom, a Aspata, 8 a Porata, a Adalia, a Aridata, 9 a Farmasta, a Arisai, a Aridai e a Vaizata, 10 que eram os dez filhos de Hamã, filho de Hamedata, o inimigo dos judeus; porém no despojo não tocaram. 11 No mesmo dia, foi comunicado ao rei o número dos mortos na cidadela de Susã. 12 Disse o rei à rainha Ester: Na cidadela de Susã, mataram e destruíram os judeus a quinhentos homens e os dez filhos de Hamã; nas mais províncias do rei, que terão eles feito? Qual é, pois, a tua petição? E se te dará. Ou que é que desejas ainda? E se cumprirá. 13 Então, disse Ester: Se bem parecer ao rei, conceda-se aos judeus que se acham em Susã que também façam, amanhã, segundo o edito de hoje e dependurem em forca os cadáveres dos dez filhos de Hamã. 14 Então, disse o rei que assim se fizesse; publicou-se o edito em Susã, e dependuraram os cadáveres dos dez filhos de Hamã. 15 Reuniram-se os judeus que se achavam em Susã também no dia catorze do mês de adar, e mataram, em Susã, a trezentos homens; porém no despojo não tocaram. 16 Também os demais judeus que se achavam nas províncias do rei se reuniram, e se dispuseram para defender a vida, e tiveram sossego dos seus inimigos; e mataram a setenta e cinco mil dos que os odiavam; porém no despojo não tocaram. 17 Sucedeu isto no dia treze do mês de adar; no dia catorze, descansaram e o fizeram dia de banquetes e de alegria. 18 Os judeus, porém, que se achavam em Susã se ajuntaram nos dias treze e catorze do mesmo; e descansaram no dia quinze e o fizeram dia de banquetes e de alegria. 19 Também os judeus das vilas que habitavam nas aldeias abertas fizeram do dia catorze do mês de adar dia de alegria e de banquetes e dia de festa e de mandarem porções dos banquetes uns aos outros. 20 Mordecai escreveu estas coisas e enviou cartas a todos os judeus que se achavam em todas as províncias do rei Assuero, aos de perto e aos de longe, 21 ordenando-lhes que comemorassem o dia catorze do mês de adar e o dia quinze do mesmo, todos os anos, 22 como os dias em que os judeus tiveram sossego dos seus inimigos, e o mês que se lhes mudou de tristeza em alegria, e de luto em dia de festa; para que os fizessem dias de banquetes e de alegria, e de mandarem porções dos banquetes uns aos outros, e dádivas aos pobres. 23 Assim, os judeus aceitaram como costume o que, naquele tempo, haviam feito pela primeira vez, segundo Mordecai lhes prescrevera; 24 porque Hamã, filho de Hamedata, o agagita, inimigo de todos os judeus, tinha intentado destruir os judeus; e tinha lançado o Pur, isto é, sortes, para os assolar e destruir. 25 Mas, tendo Ester ido perante o rei, ordenou ele por cartas que o seu mau intento, que assentara contra os judeus, recaísse contra a própria cabeça dele, pelo que enforcaram a ele e a seus filhos. 26 Por isso, àqueles dias chamam Purim, do nome Pur. Daí, por causa de todas as palavras daquela carta, e do que testemunharam, e do que lhes havia sucedido, 27 determinaram os judeus e tomaram sobre si, sobre a sua descendência e sobre todos os que se chegassem a eles que não se deixaria de comemorar estes dois dias segundo o que se escrevera deles e segundo o seu tempo marcado, todos os anos; 28 e que estes dias seriam lembrados e comemorados geração após geração, por todas as famílias, em todas as províncias e em todas as cidades, e que estes dias de Purim jamais caducariam entre os judeus, e que a memória deles jamais se extinguiria entre os seus descendentes. 29 Então, a rainha Ester, filha de Abiail, e o judeu Mordecai escreveram, com toda a autoridade, segunda vez, para confirmar a carta de Purim. 30 Expediram cartas a todos os judeus, às cento e vinte e sete províncias do reino de Assuero, com palavras amigáveis e sinceras, 31 para confirmar estes dias de Purim nos seus tempos determinados, como o judeu Mordecai e a rainha Ester lhes tinham estabelecido, e como eles mesmos já o tinham estabelecido sobre si e sobre a sua descendência, acerca do jejum e do seu lamento. 32 E o mandado de Ester estabeleceu estas particularidades de Purim; e se escreveu no livro. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  9 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;) 2 The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people. 3 And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them. 4 For Mordecai was great in the king's house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater. 5 Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them. 6 And in Shushan the palace the Jews slew and destroyed five hundred men. 7 And Parshandatha, and Dalphon, and Aspatha, 8 And Poratha, and Adalia, and Aridatha, 9 And Parmashta, and Arisai, and Aridai, and Vajezatha, 10 The ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews, slew they; but on the spoil laid they not their hand. 11 On that day the number of those that were slain in Shushan the palace was brought before the king. 12 And the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews have slain and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan the palace, and the ten sons of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the king's provinces? now what is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: or what is thy request further? and it shall be done. 13 Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do to morrow also according unto this day's decree, and let Haman's ten sons be hanged upon the gallows. 14 And the king commanded it so to be done: and the decree was given at Shushan; and they hanged Haman's ten sons. 15 For the Jews that were in Shushan gathered themselves together on the fourteenth day also of the month Adar, and slew three hundred men at Shushan; but on the prey they laid not their hand. 16 But the other Jews that were in the king's provinces gathered themselves together, and stood for their lives, and had rest from their enemies, and slew of their foes seventy and five thousand, but they laid not their hands on the prey, 17 On the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the same rested they, and made it a day of feasting and gladness. 18 But the Jews that were at Shushan assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof, and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth day of the same they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness. 19 Therefore the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and of sending portions one to another. 20 And Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both nigh and far, 21 To stablish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly, 22 As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor. 23 And the Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as Mordecai had written unto them; 24 Because Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised against the Jews to destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot, to consume them, and to destroy them; 25 But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows. 26 Wherefore they called these days Purim after the name of Pur. Therefore for all the words of this letter, and of that which they had seen concerning this matter, and which had come unto them, 27 The Jews ordained, and took upon them, and upon their seed, and upon all such as joined themselves unto them, so as it should not fail, that they would keep these two days according to their writing, and according to their appointed time every year; 28 And that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed. 29 Then Esther the queen, the daughter of Abihail, and Mordecai the Jew, wrote with all authority, to confirm this second letter of Purim. 30 And he sent the letters unto all the Jews, to the hundred twenty and seven provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words of peace and truth, 31 To confirm these days of Purim in their times appointed, according as Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen had enjoined them, and as they had decreed for themselves and for their seed, the matters of the fastings and their cry. 32 And the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim; and it was written in the book. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Observações por Blog Heavenly Heavenly Quem tem ouvidos  para ouvir, ouça. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
